Colorful latex balloons are usually used as toys or for celebrations. Traditional balloons are typically made of organic pigments and natural latex. However, standard balloons can only distinguish different colors, and it isn’t easy to present a metallic texture, which cannot give people a bright feeling.

There are also pearlescent balloons made of iridescent powder on the market. Ordinary balloons are brighter in color than pearlescent balloons, but under lights or sunlight, pearlescent balloons are more reflective and more colorful than ordinary balloons. However, the surface of pearlescent balloons is also challenging to present a strong metallic texture. With the continuous advancement of environmental protection indicators, existing pearlescent balloons often need help to meet the requirements.

Based on the current status of the balloon manufacturing field, a latex balloon with a metallic texture and a manufacturing method was born.

• Add 5-7 parts of water, 0.4-0.8 parts of additives, 3-4.5 parts of aluminum-silver paste, and 1-2 parts of color paste into the container and fully dissolve and mix the components as mentioned above to obtain a mixed liquid of aluminum-silver paste.

• Add the aluminum-silver paste mixture to 86-91 parts of latex, and keep stirring to get the balloon ingredients.

• Use balloon molds and balloon ingredients to complete the manufacture of latex balloons.
